We’re back with more DIY beauty and skin care! Last time we made a facial scrub. Today, I’m going to show you how to whip up your very own DIY makeup remover wipes. Let’s get into it.
Things You’ll Need:
1. Cotton Pads
2. Coconut Oil
3. Witch Hazel
4. Bowl with Fitting Lid (Microwave-safe)
5. Jar with Lid
6. Lavender Essential Oil (Optional)
Step One: Grab an amount of coconut oil using a spoon or a measuring cup and put this in a bowl that is microwave-safe. You may also want to cover your bowl with a lid. What I did was microwave this for 20 seconds, but you want your oil to be nice and liquid-y once it’s done.

Step Two: Add a small amount of witch hazel and a few drops of lavender essential oil to the liquified coconut oil. Place your lid back over the bowl and swish this around until it’s well stirred, or stir it yourself with a utensil. Then grab your cotton pads. Place these pads in layers in the bowl, and place the lid back on the lid. You are going to want to leave this to soak overnight.
Step Three: After allowing your cotton pads to soak, your DIY makeup remover wipes are done! Store these in a cute jar if you like, or keep them in your bowl secured by a lid when not in use.
Whenever you find that you need some help removing your makeup, now you have some fantastic wipes that you have whipped up yourself. I found that these wipes got a little stiff after a while, so I recommend making a few at a time. A week’s supply should be perfect. Enjoy!
