Hello everyone! For this week’s jewelry, I was feeling pretty adventurous. That is to say, I had absolutely no idea which direction to go. So I winged it! Here’s what I came up with. Special thanks to my pal Shayla for modeling for me!
1. Arrow and Pearl Necklace
For this necklace, I attached two separate pearl chains I had, and while I liked what it turned into, I decided I wanted to add a little something extra. So I picked out an arrow charm that I have had for a while now, and slipped it between the two chains. Another dark blue gem charm resting on the arrow completed the necklace. The back clasp sits right in the middle of the neck, making the position of the arrow off to one side. Which I really love!
2. Lace Necklace with Extra Chains
This is one of the charms I bought this month. I thought it would work perfectly as a long necklace. I left the charm alone, except for adding the bird charm on the leftmost chain.
3. Shine Bright Like A…
For this necklace, I once again added together two chains that I had lying around. The chains separate and reattach with a lobster claw on the front, which has no real practical value but I thought it looked pretty cool! One side of the necklace has little gems that compliment the diamond ring charm nicely. And on the back…
…the necklace attaches with a hook that fits within another diamond ring! How cool is that?
So this is what a little imagination (and madness) can do! I hope that my jewelry adventures have helped inspire you in your own, because it doesn’t take a lot of money to create something really beautiful and unique to you, and it doesn’t have to be too complicated!
