Re-Vamping a Shower Caddy – Easy Project!

Hello everyone! Recently, we noticed that our shower caddy was getting a little gnarly looking. So rather than throwing it out, we figured a good idea would be to reinvent it. And we did just that!

For this project, we moved to the back porch (we being myself and my lovely boyfriend who was so kind as to help me). We grabbed the shower caddy, and an old can of sparkly turquoise spray paint. Before diving into spraying the caddy, however, we laid down some protection for the wood.

Then the fun began! Shown above is the process of spray painting the shower caddy. As you can see, the sparkly turquoise color really gives the piece a new lease on life.

I really liked this project, because it was really simple, and took no time at all. Instead of running out to the store to buy a new shower caddy, it was actually quite nice to re-vamp this one. The shade of the paint is perfect for a bathroom, especially one with a sea theme. My bathroom is a little more eclectic, but reinventing this shower caddy definitely gave me ideas for more DIY bathroom decor.

Here is the shower curtain after we let it dry, and it was ready to be placed back in the shower. I really like how this turned out! Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Happy crafting everyone!
