Supply Shopping Trip – Month of June (Part Two)

Hello! So the title of this article is a bit misleading. I didn’t actually go shopping for these supplies; instead, I bought some super cool fabric online!

I like to sketch out my ideas for what I think would make a cute outfit or collection of outfits, and an idea that I had was to combine pink and navy to create some cool garments. I posted an article about this, and if you haven’t read it, click here. So I decided it was time to get to work on bringing my sketches to life, and I purchased some of the fabrics I would need!

To purchase this fabric, I went to www.spoonflower.com and searched for a pink fabric with white polka dots, and some white and navy striped fabric. Here are the designs.

The polka dots I purchased 4 yards of organic cotton knit for a total of $108.00, and for the striped fabric I purchased 3 yards of organic cotton knit for $81.00. I cringed a little bit at the cost but I’m hoping to be able to turn this fabric into some special stuff to wear.

Once the fabric arrives and I begin to work with it, I will post how it all turns out!
